The Storyteller builds a screen-filling sequence of animated content with its own navigation. The display of each individual “page” can be customized.

The “Meta Info” content element has been expanded and can now also be used to influence the order of hits in the internal search.

The Storyteller has been expanded to include video and audio media. In addition, all data protection links are now displayed. Alternative display options for mobile devices are also new.

In the element settings of many elements, you can now set a different image format for desktop and mobile devices. This allows you to optimize the display of images for large and small output devices.

The map display with radius search can now also be used for lists of locations/POIs. The settings for the map display have also been expanded.

For a list of events or church services, the locations can now be displayed on a map.

A content element can be used on more than one page. Previously, such multiple use was not immediately apparent to the editor. With version 24-06, elements that are used multiple times are now marked with a red dot, and a notification dialog appears when editing.

It is now possible to specify optional opening hours for a place (POI).

A number of HTML tags are now automatically removed during input.

Entering typographically correct quotation marks in text fields or in the editor has been made easier.

For the detailed view of the location (POI), it is now possible to display it in a similar way to an article, i.e. like the text above the map. In addition, the location can also be combined in lists, e.g. with articles.

This external, artificial intelligence (AI)-based translation tool for websites enables the automatic translation of your texts into a variety of languages. It is also possible to automatically rewrite a website in “easy language.”

Media elements can now also be output in portrait format. Portrait format output is controlled via the Image Format element setting.

Mercury provides its own icon collection. Here you will find some icons from the OpenCms system as well as icons that are not available in other collections.

In various editor masks, the label “Twitter” has been changed to “X (Twitter)”.

With version 24-09 of OpenCms, it is possible to add content to a page using the new “Place Element” mode as an alternative to “drag & drop”.

The CSS has been changed so that the new X icon is now displayed where the old Twitter bird was previously displayed.

DKIM is a special encryption method for emails that ensures that the sender is legitimate and that the message has not been altered during transmission.

Previously, links in the newsletter were only displayed via buttons. With version 24-06, images in the newsletter that belong to linked elements are also automatically linked.

Adjustment of the order of the content under the introductory text.

DKIM is now also used optionally for system emails (new password, password reset, etc.).

Online booking for events can be used across any website from version 24-06 onwards.

Pop-ups such as “Show page” have been removed from the main navigation in the header area.

The integration of analytics services for Mercury has been updated. Instead of the outdated Piwik, Piwik PRO is now supported.
