To create a navigation entry that opens in a new window, proceed as follows:
It is possible to create navigation entries that open in a new window.
To do this, the file property Navigation Info must be set to the value external. This can be done via the Explorer or the Sitemap view.
First, switch to the sitemap editor. Open the properties of the page that you want to open in a new window.
Now set the Navigation Info property to the value external.
This navigation entry will now always open in a new window. It does not matter if the navigation is located in the header or in the sidebar. The mobile version will behave in the same way.
