Content filters for the dynamic list

The contents of a dynamic list can be filtered interactively by the user. The following content filters are available:

  • Full-text search (in the elements of the list)
  • Filter by category
  • Filter by calendar date
  • Filter by storage directory

For the Dynamic list: Content filters formatter, there are the element settings Category result count - Hide/Show and Show unfolded from screen size XS/SM/MD/LG.

Layout areas with main content and side column can optionally display the side column on mobile devices before the main content instead of only behind it. For this purpose, the option Side column on top for mobile has been added to the element settings for the corresponding layout areas (such as ‘Area - Column left / Main content right’).

Configuration of the content filter

To add a filter to an existing list on a page, proceed as follows:

  1. Drag and drop the list onto the page a second time.
  2. Place the list in any container, e.g., in the side column.
  3. Open the element settings for the second list.
  4. Select the “Dynamic list: Content filters” formatter.
  5. In the element settings, specify which options the filter should display.

Customizing labels for the content filter

It is possible to customize all headings of the content filter for the dynamic list in the element settings. The placeholder for the full-text search can also be customized.
