Place / POI

A place / POI ("point of interest") shows address information with optional images and texts as well as a map.

Places can be linked to organizations, persons, events, church services and location maps, among other things. This means that the address data for a specific location does not have to be re-entered each time.

The detail view of a place automatically generates structured data for search engine optimisation, which is written invisibly into the page.

Places can be dragged directly onto a page or used in lists.

Maps can be displayed in the POI element. The type of map used (Google or OSM) depends on the settings configured for the maps. If OSM is configured, OSM is used. If Google is configured, Google is used unless OSM is also configured.

The maps in the POI behave identically to the respective specific location map element in terms of data protection law.
