One-Pager

One-pagers are long pages where entries in the navigation do not switch to a new page, but scroll up or down on the same page.

In the Mercury template, this can be achieved as follows:

  • Create a new page in the sitemap editor.
  • Stay in the sitemap editor and create an “HTML redirect” for each desired anchor mark, which you position as a direct sub-element of the created page in the navigation.
  • The order in the sitemap determines how the entries will later be displayed in the navigation.
  • Open the context menu of the HTML redirects in the sitemap editor. Select the “Properties” dialog there. For “Navigation Info,” enter the name of a anchor mark preceded by a “#,” e.g., “#mark1.”
  • Define the anchor marks on the page in the page editor by dragging the dynamic Anchor target function to the desired location on the page for each jump mark and assigning a name in the element settings, e.g., “mark1”.
