The detail view shows the entire content including all images and text paragraphs. The output can be extensively adjusted using the element settings.
The detail view is usually intended for use on a detail page, as the target of the link of an teaser in a list. It can also be used directly on a page.

The Mercury functions are described in the documentation.
The Mercury template documentation is created specifically for the OpenCms community. It describes both the basic functions of the Mercury template and customer-specific additions.
New content is added to the documentation with each new version.
Available element settings
CSS modification(Select box)
Allows to change the element layout using predefined CSS modifications.
Please note that a specific element may not support all listed modifications.
Display of key visual(Select box)
Controls how the key visual image is displayed.
Origin of key visual image(Select box)
Controls the origin of the key visual.
Image format key visual (mobile)(Select/combo box)
The image format for small screens like smartphones.
Allows you to set the image size based on common formats.
The image will automatically be scaled so that the original pixels are best fitted to the selected target format.
Instead of the presets, you can also manually enter any format. Use "width-height", for example "5-1" for an extreme wide format.

The image format for large desktop screens.
Allows you to set the image size based on common formats.
The image will automatically be scaled so that the original pixels are best fitted to the selected target format.

Allows to set alternating alignment of images in further paragraphs
Image size in further paragraphs(Select box)
In which size the image is displayed in further paragraphs for large "desktop" size screens.
In this case, "desktop" means screen size MD, LG, XL and XXL.

Headline importance(Select/combo box)
Controls the importance level of the headline.
In addition to the display size this is relevant for search engines (SEO).
Date format(Select/combo box)
Controls whether, and if yes how the date is displayed.
Instead of the presets, you can also manually enter any format.
If you for example enter "EEE, dd-MM-yy", an output like "Sun, 01-10-17" is generated.

Mouse effect(Select box)
Adds an effect that is triggered if the mouse is moved over the element.
The effect is disabled for mobile devices.
Container for attachments(Select box)
Available only on detail pages!
Controls if elements can be directly placed in the attachment container on the detail page, or if a layout row must be placed first.
Place elements directly is easier to use, but limits the layout to a 'row 1 column (12 - full)'.
Place layout row first requires additional effort, but allows more flexible layouts using rows like '6 - 6' or '4 - 4 - 4'.
Show image copyright(Check box)
Controls if the copyright information for images is displayed as an overlay.
Show image title(Check box)
If available, the image title is displayed below the image.
Show image zoom(Check box)
A zoom option is added to the images.
Show author(Check box)
Controls if the author specified in this content is shown.
Combine downloads(Check box)
Combine the links from the last paragraphs to a list of downloads.
Only paragraphs at the end that consist of just the link are combined.
