Previously, the slider navigation points, and also the navigation arrows on the right and left outer corners, only appeared when the mouse hovered over a slider image. This meant that both, the navigation points and the navigation arrows, were never visible on mobile devices. In addition, it was not possible to control a slider using the keyboard on desktop devices.
To support barrier-free navigation of the slider—including via keyboard—additional element settings have been introduced. This means that the navigation points can now be made visible on page load for all devices, not only when hovering over them with the mouse. In addition, for certain devices, you can choose whether the navigation points should appear below or above the slider image.
The new settings are available for all formatters of the hero image slider.
