Contact forms for individuals and organizations

The email address of a person or organization can be replaced by a link to a contact form.

For contact elements (person, organization, contact information), the email address can be “obscured” in the output so that it cannot be easily read from the HTML by spam bots. Clicking on an email link usually opens the user's email application and the person from the contact is pre-filled as the recipient.

With the extension from Milestone 23-06, a contact form can be opened on the website instead of the email application.

This offers the following advantages:

  • The subject line can be predefined, making it immediately apparent to a person or organization that a request has been made via a specific website.
  • Incoming contact requests are formatted uniformly.
  • The email addresses of the contacts are completely suppressed in the output and can no longer be read by spam bots.
