The handling of cancellations and the waiting list has been improved with milestone 23-06. In event management, it is now possible to move registered participants from the waiting list to the list of participants at the touch of a button. When a participant is moved up, an automatic notification of the status change is sent. The status change at the touch of a button with automatic email notification is also available for cancellations
Advanced options for managing event bookings
Registered participants can easily move up from the waiting list and are automatically notified of the status change. An iCalendar link for automatically adding the event to the user's calendar can be displayed in the registration emails. Internal notes on events are now possible and can be exported.
Internal notes for events
The event content has been given a new Notes tab with milestone 23-06. This is where you can record information that is not intended for the public, i.e., that does not appear on the website. However, notes can be viewed by all administrators of an event and also exported via CSV or Excel. The notes can contain information such as details of certificates of attendance.
iCalendar links in registration emails
iCalendar links can be displayed on event detail pages. iCalendar links can also be displayed in registration emails for booking events. If the “Display iCalendar link” option is selected in the Email Configuration tab of a form in the Email to User section, an iCalendar link will be attached to the confirmation registration email sent to the user.
