List:The formatter "Dynamic list"

A list collects contents according to the preset search criteria and shows them with the selected teasers.

The dynamic list allows additional results to be reloaded without reloading the entire web page.

Optionally, you can flip between the pages of the list or attach newly loaded pages.

Available element settings

Allows to change the element layout using predefined CSS modifications.

Please note that a specific element may not support all listed modifications.

Controls if and how the headline of the list itself is displayed.

The number of elements that are shown on a page in the list.

Provide a sequence of numbers to show different numbers of elements on the first pages, e.g., '5-8' to show 5 elements on the first page and 8 on all following pages.

The setting Loading of additional pages controls how further pages are loaded.

If checked, elements that belong to a group, e.g. all events on the same day, will be shown on the same page and not split between two pages.

This can be required in case a calendar sheet is displayed.

Activate this option only if required, since the load time of the list is negatively impacted.

Controls how additional pages are loaded.

There are two possible options:

Pagination - Loading is controlled with a pagination bar that is shown below the list. The loaded page replaces the current page. This is good for large screens, e.g. desktop computers.

Append - Loading happens by appending further list pages below the list. This is good for small screens, e.g. smartphones.

In order to work best for large and small screens, it is possible to automatically switch between these options at a certain screen size.

The screen sizes XS, SM, MD and LG are defined by the Bootstrap grid system.

Controls the position of the pagination bar below the list.

This is only relevant in case the setting pagination is active for loading of additional pages.

Sets an individual label on the button that is used to append more list pages.

If this is not set, the default text "Show more" is used.

This is only relevant in case the setting append is active for loading of additional pages.
