Editor field description for the Slider

The slider creates a slide show or an image carousel with a configurable interval where images with texts are displayed.

Tab "Configuration"

Title
(Text input)
The title / headline for this content.
Text Position
Optional
The default position of the text box. This value can be overridden for individual slides.
Vertical
(Select box)

Choose the vertical position.

Horizontal
(Select box)

Choose the horizontal position.

Text Color
(Color picker)
Optional
The color for the text. If not color is set, a color from the CSS theme will be used.
The colour code must be in the correct hexadecimal format, e.g. in the form ‘#CC3300’.
Text Background Color
(Color picker)
Optional
The background color of the text. If no color is set, a default from the CSS theme will be used.
The colour code must be in the correct hexadecimal format, e.g. in the form ‘#CC3300’.
Gallery title
(Text input)
Only Workplace users
Optional
Used to identify this content in the OpenCms internal gallery. Not shown in the output page.

Image
Can occur up to 100 times
The image for this content.
Path
(Image gallery)
The absolute image path in the OpenCms file system.

Optional link for this image.

Text Title

The title of the text box that is shown with the image.
Text Subtitle 1
(Text area)
The first line of the text box.

Optional position of the text box inside the image, if the standard position is not suited.
Vertical

Choose the vertical position.

Horizontal

Choose the horizontal position.

Release / expiration date
Optional

The time period where this image is available.

Attention: Invalid images - and the corresponding texts - are not displayed, but are still present in the HTML source code of the page. Therefore, do not use this function for sensitive information that must not be made public before a certain date, for example.
