Editor field description for the Meta info

The meta info is used to embed invisible information for search engines (SEO and internal search) and social media in pages.

Title to be shared

The title to be shared in the social media.
Description to be shared
(Text area)
Optional
The text to be shared in the social media. Should be descriptive and good to read. It is also used as a teaser for internal website search results. No SEO-Optimization here.
Image to be shared

The image to be shared in the social media.
Facebook specific information
Optional
Allows to set meta info specially for Facebook. It's also possible to overwrite individual fields for Facebook.

ATTENTION: Change this value only if you know what you are doing! Canonical URL for the shared content. This is normally set automatically using the URL of the current page. Generated attribute is "og:url".

Tells Facebook what kind of content is being shared. For web pages usually "article" or "website" (default). Generated attribute is "og:type".
Site

The site name displayed when the content is shared on Facebook. Generated attribute is "og:site_name". Can also be set globally using the folder property "social.facebook.site".
X (Twitter) specific information

Allows to set meta info specially for X (Twitter). It's also possible to overwrite individual fields for X (Twitter).

Keywords for the page

The keywords for the generated page. Generated attribute is "keywords". Keywords are also searched in the internal website search.
Internal search customization

Optional

This affects the page's ranking in the site's internal search. The intent is to rank the page higher in the search results.

Please note that exact placement is not possible, as multiple pages may be ranked higher.

External searches, such as Google, are not affected by this setting.

Canonical URL

The canonical link used for SEO.

Per default the canonical link will be generated automatically, e.g. resolving URLs ending with a / to /index.html.

You can override the calculated canonical URL here.

Robots setting

Optional

Allows to set the robots meta tag specifying the indexing behaviour of search engines for the generated page.

Specifically set meta information is meta name="robots".

Revisit setting

Optional

Revisit-after specifies how often search engines should visit your website. This helps to ensure that up-to-date content appears in the search results - particularly important for frequent updates.
